We sell by live weight. We use Snapps Ferry Meat Packing. They vacuum pack their meat which controls freezer burn if your meat will be in the freezer for awhile.
The Customer comes to farm, picks out goat they want. We will weigh goat. The Customer pays $1.50 per pound, live weight of goat. Customer can then choose to take goat to packing house of their choice OR we can deliver goat to Snapps Ferry Packing house for a $20.00 non-refundable fee, then customer contacts Snapps Ferry to arrange how they want their meat cut & packaged and when they will pick it up....Customer pays Snapps Ferry for all slaughter and processing fees.
